Overview

Located in a stunning natural setting on the banks of the Ara River with panoramic views to the high Pyrenees of Ordessa and Monte Perdido, this charming 17th-Century building is well placed to discover the Huescan Pyrenees at their best. A former monastery, set near the French border, this hotel boasts lovely decoration, combining modern design with original details such as exquisite stone exteriors and arches. The large, seasonal outdoor pool, surrounded by gardens, is perfect to spend a relaxing day around, and you can keep in shape at the fitness centre. It also has a luxurious spa, where you can treat yourself to a soothing massage or Turkish steam bath.

Accommodation details

94 rooms plus 40 villas with views to the Pyrenees. The design is different in each room according to the architectonic shapes of the old monastery. In all of them you will enjoy a stream of natural light and superb views from the High Valley of the Ara. All rooms are equipped with individual air conditioning, plasma television and satellite TV, telephone, high speed Internet access, minibar and safety box. Complete bathroom with two differentiated zones for shower or bathtub, professional hair dryer, magnifying mirror, courtesy bath set and bathrobe to Spa. Deluxe and Superior rooms have the same features with some details that make the difference between them: room size, views and the hydro-massage shower. Junior Suites have a great bedroom, an independent living room and full luxury detail bathroom. The Villas also have an independent hall with microwave oven and mini-refrigerator, satellite TV, internet service, safety box, telephone and air conditioning. Boltaña Spanish Pyrenees and Catalunya

On the Rio Ara, just a few kilometres to the north-west of Ainsa, the small village of Boltaña is set amongst rugged mountains and offers an excellent base from which to explore the National Park of Ordesa & Monte Perdido. To the south the Mediano reservoir offers the opportunity of water-sports and for wine-lovers the Somontano vineyards are within easy reach.
