Overview
Looking out over Albarino vineyards and gently rolling hills beyond, in the heart of the Salnes valley with its mild and agreeable climate in the Rias Baixas, this very special hotel, in a sleepy hamlet, with a pool and an excellent restaurant, is a dream come true. The owners spent many years searching for the perfect location and this is it!
A harmonious blend of century old stone buildings with dynamic modern, with original features and oriental touches, creating a feeling of tranquility and well being, "guests experience a Galicia that is rural, but well communicated". Fantastic beaches, ancient towns and cities, impressive monasteries and churches, busy resorts, wonderful river walks and bodegas galore are all within very easy reach.
With the bedrooms distributed amongst three buildings, lovely landscaped gardens, sheltered terraces, a salon with an open fire, a library with local artists' work, a glass sided horreo (traditional grain store) for relaxing in, even at the height of summer, everyone will find their own space.
The owners are true professionals who will ensure your stay is a memorable one - Julio, in charge of the restaurant, and Nacho, with his great enthusiasm and knowledge of the area, to give you expert advice and organise trips for you, looks after all your needs.
A visit to a local bodega is included in your stay, a massage service is available and at certain times of the year cookery workshops are held to give you a very personal insight into the great gastronomy of the region.
