Boutique-style, independent hotel

This recently rehabilitated, small, 16th century mansion (on the site of an old sinagogue and rabbi's house), has been transformed into a stylish hotel with modern decoration in the minimalist style, yet respecting the original features.

Somewhat Scandanavian in feel with its colour scheme of black, white and pine, blending in with stone and brick, it also has a tempting restaurant, an atmospheric bodega down in the cellar and an attractive bar with a pleasing patio to sit out in the warmer months.

In the heart of the old quarter within the ancient city walls, with the cathedral literally across the way and other sights near at hand, plus a wonderful covered market, you could not be better placed for exploring the town.

The friendly and attentive staff, who speak English, will do their best to ensure your stay is a comfortable and memorable one.

The hotel has an attractive restaurant and a bar/cafeteria which share an interior patio with tables and chairs for sitting out. There is also a stylish bodega/wine cellar in the basement with a mini -cine screen and a gourmet shop. (these are all open to the public).

There is WIFI throughout the hotel, a lift, 24 hour reception, laundry and dry cleaning service, luggage storage, room service and a baby sitting service.

There is private parking in an underground car park (50 metres away). A reservation for parking is needed. It costs 15 euros a day.

Some of the staff speak English.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant. It is a buffet breakfast with the option of "Full English" if required.

Lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant. It is traditional cuisine with a modern twist, using seasonal products from Castilla y Le?n and Castilla La Mancha. There are several menus available as well as a la carte. There is a children's menu and a good choice of vegetarian options. Reasonably priced.

The bar/cafeteria serves tapas and raciones.

There is a good choice of bars and restaurants in the local area.
