A genuine medieval palace right in the centre of historic Burgos, just a short walk to the magnificent cathedral and the myriad tapas bars, restaurants and asadores for which the city is also famous.
Built in the 16th Century, a golden age in Burgos which grew wealthy from the rich wool trade with England, the Palace has recently been restored to a very high standard.
All rooms are exceptionally spacious and decorated in the latest style making good use of the architectural details of the original palace.
With friendly staff and plenty of space to relax and soak in the feeling of the ancient building the hotel makes the perfect base to get the most our of your stay in Burgos.
64 rooms, all exterior, all spacious, the majority having separate sitting room and bedroom. Some rooms are duplex (on two levels). All rooms have WiFi, LCD TV and air conditioning / heating. Upper floors have views across the rooftops, lower floors show more of the architectural structure of the original palace. Some rooms are specially adapted for people with disabilities (please enquire).

Extensive buffet breakfast served in light and airy glass covered courtyard which also serves as restaurant for lunch and evening meal.The hotel restaurant is open to the public and serves Burgos specialities as well as Castillan and Spanish dishes to a very high standard bringing a vanguardista touch to classic dishes.Menu del dia or tasting menus are served as well as vegetarian and gluten intolerant options.The hotel also has links with one of Burgos' most famous 'asadores', Puerta Real, specialising in the local lamb for which Burgos is rightly famous.
