Overview
Mi AlmaZara is a small adults-only boutique hotel in the countryside outside Jávea, designed around privacy, good food and a slower pace of stay. With just 14 rooms, extensive outdoor space and views towards the Montgó, it feels very different from the larger coastal hotels found elsewhere on the Costa Blanca.
The architecture and interiors have a restrained Mediterranean character, using white walls, stone, wood, cotton and esparto alongside olive and orange trees. The landscaped grounds include a swimming pool, gardens and quiet outdoor areas, while all rooms have private outside space and their own fireplace. Wellness is a significant part of the concept, with yoga and meditation sessions, massages and treatments, gong baths and other activities available.
Its setting also gives good access to Jávea, the Montgó Natural Park and the wider Marina Alta. A car is useful and free private parking makes the hotel straightforward for touring clients. The combination of peaceful surroundings, strong restaurant, thoughtful contemporary design and unusually spacious rooms makes Mi AlmaZara particularly suited to couples who want a quieter alternative to a conventional beach hotel.

Restaurant
The hotel restaurant specialises in Nikkei cooking, combining Japanese techniques with Peruvian flavours and locally sourced Mediterranean ingredients. Fresh fish, marinated dishes, tempura, wok cooking and seasonal produce form the basis of the style.
The kitchen is led by Chilean chef Eduardo Acuña, whose background includes experience in Peruvian and Nikkei cooking. The restaurant serves both lunch and dinner and is designed as a destination in its own right rather than simply providing a basic hotel dining service.
Breakfast is served at the hotel and focuses on local produce, with buffet options including fruit, cheeses and other sweet and savoury items. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free breakfast options are available.
