This small, family run, comfortable, modern hotel, built with traditional, local materials, is in the peaceful village of Corrulon, a short drive from Villafranca del Bierzo, at one time the capital of Galicia.
With a very pretty garden, a cafeteria with a terrace and a popular restaurant serving delicious, traditional, regional food, its ten bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are individually decorated and furnished in the classic style and all have a wonderful view!
The cosy sitting room with a fireplace in cooler months or the sunny terrace in warmer ones are relaxing and inviting, giving you a true feeling of home.

The hotel has a cafeteria and terrace on the ground floor and a small restaurant on the first floor. Both are open to the public.
The cafeteria is open everyday and this is where breakfast is served.
The restaurant opens everyday for lunch and dinner in the summer months (July and August) but in the low season it opens at weekends only.
Dinner is available (on request) for guests at the hotel thoughout the year.
Mariano, the owner of the hotel, is a professional chef and not only offers traditional dishes of the region, but he is also well known for his rice dishes from the Mediterranean.
Villafranca del Bierzo, at less than five kilometres, has a good range of restaurants.
Tucked beneath Monte Sadurnin, almost on the border with Galicia, the peaceful village of Corullon boasts an imposing medieval castle " El Castillo de los Marqueses de Villafranca" and two fine Romanesque churches, San Miguel and San Esteban.
Backed by chestnut woods and surrounded by cherry orchards with vineyards and hills beyond, the Rio Burbia gently winds its way through. The stunning view from the Mirador maps out the
roads that lead to the magnificent gold mines of Las Medulas, the unique Valle del Silencio where time has stopped and the dramatic mountains of the Ancares Lucences.
Just a short drive takes you to the gem of Villafranca del Bierzo, at one time the capital of Galicia, now known as the "mini Santiago".
