A delight of an hotel on the route to Santiago, set in an ideal tranquil, country location. Tucked in between the foot of the Picos de Europa mountains and the dramatic Asturian coastline with its beautiful beaches it is not far from the popular resort of Llanes. The rooms are in two traditional stone buildings which have been beautifully restored to a very high standard overlooking a courtyard and the nine hole golf course which the hotel prides itself upon. With an excellent restaurant attached, it is the perfect place, not only for golfers, but for those seeking gastronomical delights and what the surrounding area has to offer.
In the main building there are eleven double bedrooms (one adapted for the disabled), each decorated and furnished differently, all with television and with full ensuite bathrooms with hydromassage. In the building which was at one time the stables, there are four suites, each comprising of a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (two with baths on first floor, two with showers on attic floor), a sitting room with a double sofa bed (suitable for two children or one adult), a coffee table, a desk and T.V.
9 hole, 3 par golf course (restricted to golfers with handicap). Can organise green fees for other local courses (Llanes, Villaviciosa, Berb?s, Gijon & Santa Maria in Cantabria - all coastal).

Excellent restaurant/cafeteria overlooking the golf course offering a mixture of traditional Asturian cooking and the latest in nouvelle cuisine. Meals range from breakfast to snacks throughout the day and to more sophisticated dinners in the evenings. There is a "menu de degustacion" which is a real treat, but must be ordered in advance.
In the district of Llanes yet far enough from Llanes itself to avoid the masses, Quintana is ideally situated for a great seaside holiday with direct access to the Picos de Europa mountains via nearby Posada. The coast along here is truly spectacular with great clifftop walks, blowholes and lovely beaches in protected rocky coves like Barro, pictured here.
When you've had enough of the beaches and the breathtaking mountain landscapes there's plenty to see and do like a visit to the Basilica and lakes of Covodonga, a boat trip out of Llanes to see the lovely coastline or an excursion to see the prehistoric cave paintings at Tito Bustillo and Pindal nearby. And that's all without venturing into nearby Cantabria!
