HTOL1, Tol, North Spain

Overview

A great little family run country hotel with your well being in mind!

In the peaceful farming village of Tol on the Camino de Santiago in Western Asturias bordering with Galicia, just five minutes from the nearest beaches.

Once a working farm the main farmhouse and several outbuildings, nestled around a pretty courtyard, have now been carefully and lovingly restored and renovated to make a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay. Along with a restaurant with a good local reputation and a bar/cafeteria, the true bonus here is that the farmland is now an immaculately kept 9 hole golf course and is right on your doorstep along with a very good sized indoor heated swimming pool with a jacuzzi and sauna and massage treatment available on request.

Belen and Pedro and their son and staff will make sure your stay is a homely and memorable one.

The surrounding area has much to offer with the dramatically situated town of Ribadeo on the Eo estuary a ten minute drive and the interesting little towns of Figueras, Castropol and Vegadeo a very short distance and Tapia de Casariego, well known internationally for its surfing competions even nearer. A great area for walking, mountain biking, sailing, surfing and fishing.

In the village of Tol itself there is a wonderful old shop/bar selling everything from beans to boots - well worth a visit!
