Owned by the Marquesa de la Rambla and thought to have been designed by the great Andr?s de Vandelvira, the architect responsible for some of the finest buildings in the town, this perfectly kept, genuine renaissance palace is the perfect base from which to enjoy the period charms of Ubeda.
A monument in itself, beautifully furnished with genuine antiques and full of genuine artworks, the hotel is set around a central patio in true Andalucian style with a nice shady garden to the rear and a very spacious lounge for guests to enjoy. And as there are only six rooms the privileged few who do stay here enjoy a luxury of space, peace and tranquillity.

Ubeda and Baeza Andalucia
Set in what is now a sleepy, agricultural corner of Andalucia among the mountains and the olive groves, Ubeda, and its sister town Baeza, can come as quite a surprise.
Here you will find a spectacular treasure trove of Renaissance art and architecture belying the glorious past of these two towns which reached their heyday in the aftermath of the Reconquista as the riches of the Americas flooded up the Guadalquivir river.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003 Ubeda alone holds 48 monuments 9 of which of national interest including the magnificent Capilla de San Salvador, Palacio de las Cadenas and the Hospital de Santiago as well as numerous other palaces and works by architects such as Andres Vandelvira.
There's a thriving local pottery tradition dating back to Arab times, typically with a deep green colour and fine lattice-work.
Nearby you can wander in the Olive groves or visit the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Nature Park, Spain's largest nature reserve with many unique species, home to the source, at over 1300m, of the Guadalquivir.
In Ubeda visit Plaza de las Molinas, Capilla de San Salvador, Palacio de las Cadenas and the Hospital de Santiago.
In Baeza the Town Hall, Plaza del Populo & the Old University.
