This is a paperless system which allows you to keep all of your important travel documentation and key information in one place and carry it with you wherever you go.
You’ll also find our own regional guides embedded in the app with plenty of insider tips as well as our restaurant recommendations so you can get the inside track and eat where the locals eat!

Practical Information
Travel independently - but well informed!
Our simple-to-use travel app not only allows you to keep all of your important travel documentation in one place it also contains all our local knowledge gained over the 40 years we've been bringing visitors to Spain and Portugal.
That's a lot of information but the technology helps, delivering local guides and instructions just when you need them and using geo-location and mapping to help you find those out-of-the-way gems which make the holiday extra special.
Document wallet
Just the essential documentation; Itinerary details, invoices, vouchers, driving instructions etc. for a two week tour can easily run to 40 or 50 pages. The paperless app takes the headache out of paperwork, collating the documents so you can find them with ease and putting them all in one place so you can carry them wherever you go - and rest assured that nothing is left behind!
Our holiday guides
Our expert team have been working and living (and dining) in Spain and Portugal for 40 years and have distilled that experience to produce holiday guides for every location you'll visit. You'll find these guides embedded within the app in readable format, so you can browse when planning or daydreaming about your trip, but they also form the core behind the maps and The List where all the points of interest are geo-located.
The technical stuff
The app is configured for iPhone and Android, for use on both tablets and smart-phones.
Once downloaded (at home over wi-fi) all the information is stored locally on your phone so, apart from the weather forecast and live navigation facility, you don't need to be connected to use the app. You'll have WiFi at every hotel along the way anyway should you need those facilities.
You can load the app to as many devices as you wish, so each party member can have it on their device.
The written guides are easiest to read on an iPad or other tablet but are perfectly readable on a smartphone.
Complementary guidebook
We get rave reviews about the app - our clients repeatedly report that it adds another dimension to the journey - and we can't imagine how we'd live without it but we know that not everyone wants to be stuck to their 'devices' while on holiday. We still appreciate a nice guide book ourselves and so provide a complementary off-the-shelf guidebook for the areas you'll be visiting.
As with the app the guidebook will be sent as soon as you book - to allow plenty of time for dreaming and planning!

When to go to Northern Spain
About the weather in north Spain
The core of all the holiday information within the app comes from our regional holiday guides which in turn come from our 40 years' experience living, working, travelling and eating out in Spain and Portugal.
As mentioned the guides are embedded in readable format so you can browse but we've taken all the points of interest (POIs) and geo-located them (along with your hotels) so you can easily find your way to even the most remote hidden gem with the simple to use technology.
The Map function
The app contains a map with a high level of detail in the entire area you'll be visiting. Your hotels and all POIs can be seen there and there's a useful filter at the bottom of the page to view entries by type (restaurants, museums, beaches etc).
If your itinerary covers a wide area the top-level map can be a bit daunting, but you can also open the map from day-by-day section and focus on the local area of interest.
Each entry has a 'more info' link with driving instructions if it's a hotel or a brief overview if it's a POI.
Each entry also has a navigation 'take me there' link - click it and google maps will instantly open with driving instructions from your current location!
'The List' function
This may look (and sound) like the dullest backwater of the app - but don't be fooled, this is powerful!
Listing all POIs by proximity - to current location, or any hotel along the way - and allowing filtering by type, 'The List' is an excellent tool for planning and for ad-hoc, spur-of-the-moment adventures whilst on holiday.
Planning - use the menu to see what's near any particular hotel - beaches, restaurants, museums, wineries...
On the move - filter and list by proximity to your current position to find what you need while on the hoof.
Select any item and it'll open in maps complete with its details and its 'take me there' button - and you're off!
Messaging, Weather, Flights & Photobook
Messaging
You'll find a simple messaging service within the app to contact us whilst on holiday.
Whilst not intended as a '24 hour hotline' this can be very useful for doubts and queries which crop up along the way.
It's also a great way to let us know about any new little gems you may come across on your travels - or simply to let us know what a great time you're having!
Weather Forecast
As the holiday approaches or whilst on tour the embedded weather forecast puts everything at your fingertips - saving you the bother of inputting each location to your weather app.
The overview gives a good feeling of everything you can expect throughout the trip - great for packing!
Once on the ground the stage-by-stage detailed view let's you make and modify plans as you go along - always staying one step ahead...
Flight tracker
If we know your flight details we'll set up the embedded flight tracker within the app so you can consult details and keep abreast of any delays or developments.
Photobook
Automatically collate and generate a beautiful printed photobook as a memento of your wonderful trip.
Upload photos and notes to the photobook section during your trip, add more from your camera and edit the content on your return.
Once complete ordering your photobook is just a simple click away - and prices are very reasonable.
