Born in Cuba, Leonor graduated in Art History from the University of Havana, where she worked as a visual arts specialist before moving to the Basque Country and eventually to Navarra. Instantly captivated by the region’s unique language, ancestral traditions, spectacular scenery and, of course, its culinary and wine culture, she has spent the years since discovering her new home in every possible way.
Surrounded by the finest Navarrese Romanesque heritage and the wild beauty of the Pyrenean valleys, her passions have only deepened through the many road trips she has taken over the past decade. As part of the Caminos by Casas Cantabricas team, she is committed to sharing her on-the-ground knowledge with those seeking adventures across the Iberian Peninsula.
