This charming, traditional hotel is located in the Picos de Europa National Park, beside the Basilica de Santa María la Real de Covadonga, just 1.6 km from the Santa Cueva de Covadonga, both emblematic of the Spanish Reconquista which is said to have started at this very spot.

Décor is traditional throughout, in keeping with the history of the location and its importance in Spanish folklore and its links with the Basilica. Some rooms have balconies and spectacular mountain views.

There’s good walking straight from the door and the Lagos de Enol and Ercina (the ‘Lakes of Covadonga’), a highlight of any visit to the Picos, are just 6km further on, up the hill. Cangas de Onis is just 15 minutes’ drive away and the famous Ruta de Cares within easy reach.
