Andy McCulloch
Director of Caminos Casas Cantabricas

Starting life in Coventry, Andy worked in Automotive Design for the first two decades of his professional life before, in the early 90s, meeting his Basque wife and falling in love with the dramatic coastline, lush green mountains and exceptional food of northern Spain. From there it wasn’t long before deciding to make it his home and turn his long-standing passion for travel into a career.
Since then he’s been avidly exploring every corner of Spain and Portugal, developing a deep fascination with the people, history, gastronomy and wine that shape every region of the Iberian Peninsula. That curiosity never wanes and now feeds directly into the travel experiences the company creates for its guests as does his enthusiasm for hiking, cycling and of course classic cars (as they say, you can take the kid out of Coventry…).
Today Andy is a company director, involved in all aspects of the business, from discovering new experiences and designing new itineraries to ensuring travellers discover the places, flavours and landscapes that make Spain and Portugal so special.
