With the war in Iran causing much concern among travellers we were delighted to receive a very reassuring press release on April 28th 2026 from Christophe Mathieu, the CEO of our longstanding partners, Brittany Ferries, assuring that there will be no disruption in their sailing schedules due to fuel shortage and no fuel surcharges this year.

In a strong, positive message to travellers the company states that there is “no chance they will run out of fuel” and therefore expect no disruptions to sailing schedules due to teh situation in Iran, and importantly, “no fuel surcharges” will be applied this season.
